(The parkland is licensed to the companies by The Trustees of the Earl of Bathurst Estate Settlement 1963 and The Trustees of the Lord Apsley Settlement 1997).Cirencester Park Polo Club was established in 1894 and is one of the oldest Polo Clubs in the world. It has offered Polo tournaments, exhibition matches, Polo lessons and training and opportunities to play polo for a sustained and unbroken period (well over 100 years), with the exception of a couple of gaps for a few years during the First and Second World Wars. Members also receive membership offers, such as friends and family rates to the events, sponsors offers (such as a wine offer from our Wine and Champagne supplier), and various benefits as listed below: There are three classifications of membership:Full playing members - who receive player passes for the player and their grooms, they have access to all domestic tournaments, invitations to all of the club's social occasions, copies of the club magazine and access to the changing facilities and club house.Social members - who receive metal passes to the club house and the facilities, car park passes, fixture lists, a copy of the magazine and an opportunity to vote at the AGM.Day membership - Per day access to the club house and surrounding environment.Polo training is provided through the Cirencester Polo Academy to members and non-members of the club. Instruction is offered for all levels of interest from complete novices to players with an existing knowledge wishing to improve their game. The Academy also provides Instructional 'Chukkas' and low goal tournaments for Academy members.
