Financial Services We coined the phrase in 2001, we did not realise that when you invent a word you should trade mark it straight away. We incubate people and companies from a regulatory point or view. We used the word internally for many years and we also called ourselves an Umbrella, the next firm did not start doing it till 2007 and then in later years they called themselves a regulatory hosting firm. The industry knows we are the pioneer of this way of doing business. We will still allow others to use the phrase if we have the trade mark, but we want it to be attached to us for various reasons. We already own the URL www.regulatoryincubator.com so we just want the words. We have incubated over 80 firms. Our strap line is a sturgeon starts the size of a tiny egg, it grows to 15 feet in length weighs a tonne or more and lives more than 200 years. That is based on nurture and the sturgeon is a bottom feeder, we focus on start ups. It has whiskers which taste food before it bites, that is due diligence, and and caviar is synonymous with success. Our team is mainly working mothers who nurture and grow. We are the only mainly female team in our space. We own the trademark of the fish and the words, as a logo but still wish to apply for just the words.
