As British sparkling wine cannot be classified as Champagne, Cava or Spumante (not produced in region or area) This will address the French monopoly on sparkling wine (ie separate section for Champagne in the supermarkets, rather than being under French Wine) where British Sparkling Wine is side lined under the British Wine section and is often overlooked but is of comparable quality and taste.
